I see “mimic-errs” and they’re everywhere. Videos at the gym!?!? Stop it. Watching (creepin’ at) trainers train people (who the program is for and paid)! Stop it. You are going to hurt yourself.
First, if you are going to use a ipad/tablet/computer or your phone at the gym and mimic workouts, stay home and do that. Clearly you don’t care you look ridiculous. So let me approach it this way. You are cheating yourself. Not only are you wasting money on a gym membership, but you’re cheating yourself a great workout or an injury prone work out.
All the modules in the gym were made from experts, researchers in the fitness field that know what people need and are looking for. They have dedicated time to the craftsmanship of alllllllllllllll the modules, and here you are looking at your computer trying to keep up with p90x or some kickboxing with an air-bag video?!?!?!?!? ewwww:/
Or you watch the trainers with their clients and steal work-outs. They can be working on Hip- Flexor stability and here you are stabilizing your perfectly strong hip-flexor. Stupid.
Second, the mimicking you are doing without knowing proper form, functionality or if that work out is even for you; can be exacerbating a physical problem you don’t even realize you have or are developing one.
This is the human body everyone…delicate and strong at the same time. So many components. Invest in someone that will help you take care of your body…naturally.
